I’m a Melbourne-based ceramic artist creating sculptural works inspired by film, television, and popular culture. My practice explores nostalgia, girlhood, coming-of-age, and identity, using clay to reimagine familiar cultural objects and moments that shaped my formative years.

Drawing on both Australian and international screen culture, I reimagine these cultural touchstones in clay. Each piece blends the tactile nature of handcraft with a sense of nostalgia, inviting a playful connection between object and memory. I am interested in how film and television become sites of comfort, escapism, memory and shaping our understanding of self, desire, and belonging.

Through hand-built ceramic forms, I transform these references into tactile objects that balance humour, sentimentality, and storytelling. My work blends personal memory and popular icons to create pieces that feel both playful and reflective, inviting viewers to reconnect with the emotional landscapes of adolescence and the cultural moments that stay with us.
